PeachTivi is a self-hosted streaming app. We don't run a cloud service or sell anything to advertisers. This page describes what data the app handles, where it goes, and how you can remove it.
- Your account email, watch history, favorites and preferences live on the server you connect to.
- Media itself never leaves your media server unless you stream it to your own device.
- We don't share, sell, or rent any of it.
- Delete your account anytime to wipe everything we hold.
What we store
When you sign in to a PeachTivi server we store, on that server only:
- Account: email address, hashed password, household profile names and avatars.
- Library state: watch history (which titles, when, what playback position), favorites, search history, channel preferences, and subtitle / audio-track defaults.
- Sessions: a row per signed-in device with a friendly label (e.g. "Ameet's MacBook Pro"), platform, app version, last-seen timestamp, and a hash of the session token. You can revoke any session from Settings → Devices.
- Connection settings: the URLs and credentials for the upstream services your account uses (Emby/Jellyfin, Xtream IPTV). These are configured by you or your household admin.
What we don't store
- The actual video / audio bytes you watch.
- Telemetry, analytics, advertising IDs, fingerprints, or any third-party SDKs.
- Crash reports, unless you submit one yourself by email.
Where your data lives
One place: the PocketBase database on the server hosting your
PeachTivi instance. The default community server runs at
peachtivi.com. You can also self-host PeachTivi on your own
machine — in that case nothing reaches us at all.
Backups are local to that server. We do not replicate to third parties.
Third-party services you connect
If you point PeachTivi at an Emby, Jellyfin, Plex, or Xtream provider, those services receive standard playback and metadata requests directly from the app. PeachTivi acts as a client; their privacy policies apply to anything they store.
Children
PeachTivi is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EU/UK). Household admins are responsible for content rating limits on profiles they create.
Your rights
- Access & export. Email [email protected] for a JSON dump of everything tied to your account.
- Correction. Edit your email or profile names from in-app settings.
- Deletion. Open Settings → Account → Delete account, or email support. Deletion is immediate and unrecoverable.
- Revoke a device. Settings → Devices shows every signed-in session and lets you sign any of them out remotely.
Cookies & tracking
The marketing site (peachtivi.com) does not use cookies, web beacons, or analytics. The native app uses only the platform-standard secure storage to keep you signed in.

Changes
We'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when anything material changes. Substantive changes (new categories of data, new sharing) will trigger an in-app notice on next launch.
